During the Massage
We use a method of deep rhythmic breathing during the massage along with long flowing movements that
induce very deep relaxation. What do you do during the session? The best thing that you can do is to
just 'let go' and let us do all the work.
The music we play during the massage is quite different to other massage. It is a little louder than
relaxation massage music. The practitioner is the dancer in this massage to the music and the person
receiving the massage becomes the partner in the dance.
Guidelines for Kahuna Massage.
Kahuna Massage is a nurturing compassionate, caring and sensual experience. In the West sensuality
is often associated with sexuality. They are very different. Should the massage trigger feelings of sexuality acknowledge these feelings as natural but don't hold
onto them or play into them as that is inappropriate for your session.
Insights
The Hawaiians many thousands of years ago developed Kahuna Massage as a means of getting in touch with deeper
aspects of themselves. Through the ALOHA or caring and compassion of the Kahuna practitioner
and the deep trance states of self awareness and consciousness brought about by the session you may have insights come
to your awareness that may help to give you direction or clarity you have been searching for in life.
You may have a variety of experiences during the massage. You may simply feel totally nutured and loved... you may have an awareness come to mind about
your life... you may have a lovely vision of being in a beautiful place in nature... you may release long held emotions that have been locked into muscles.

'Aloha' was a recognition of life in another. If there was life there was mana, goodness and wisdom, and if there was goodness and wisdom
there was a god-quality. One had to recognize the 'god of life' in another before saying 'Aloha,' but this was easy.
Life was everywhere... Aloha had its own mana. It never left the giver but flowed freely and continuously between giver and receiver.
'Aloha' could not be thoughtlessly or indiscriminately spoken, for it carried its own power. No Hawaiian could greet another with 'Aloha'
unless he felt it in his own heart. If he felt anger or hate in his heart he had to cleanse himself before he said 'Aloha'.
