Each day we are given a new beginning
It enters into our lives with stillness, peace and tranquillity
It holds no grudges, it remembers no pain…
It enters gently with the dawn, another gift of a day

Let’s start and receive it with thanksgiving to our Father and Maker
Let’s whisper “I love You Lord Jesus”
Let’s be grateful He bestowed another day to us
Let’s be joyful and decide to make it different

Today’s tale is yet to be written
There are many things in our control and many in His Hands
May we start with prayer and invite His Presence in
Then do our best with His Help and live a new day
