Basalt Stones for Massage
Basalt is a Volcanic Rock which is formed by the rapid cooling of lava on the Earth's surface. Basalt contains crystals so small that they are not seen easily. Basalt is generally rich in iron and magnesium. Some forms of Basalt may have a greenish tinge due to Olivine being present. The Basalt we sell is a mix of plain basalt and basalt that contains small fragments of manganese, olivine and serpentine. Excellent for massage as well as healing work.
