The stones from Frangipani House are all Australian stones from very old Volcanic areas. The stones are all especially hand picked and have a wonderful, natural energy for use in massage. The stones have a mix of Basalt, Manganese, crystalline formations, Serpentine and Olivine. The stones are polished by nature over thousands of years in river and ocean beds.

The stone colours vary from gray to black to gray with a greenish tinge. Some of the stones contain some manganese, olivine or serpentine which gives a green tinge to the stone. The mix is all volcanic and the stones are excellent to massage with... stones that hold heat very well. Of course the larger the stone the longer it retains heat. We feel the best results in Stone Massage come from using Mother Nature's own polishing methods rather than tumbled stones.

The 56 piece set includes all the stones necessary to do a full body stone massage. Stones for massage effleurage and placement, stones to rest on the sacrum and heart, deep tissue stones, facial, third eye placement, and toe stones. They have curves and crevasses as nature made them, some may have small crystal inclusions, yet are very-very smooth. Stones may be purchased in sets or individually.
